Why Workplace Wellbeing Matters

Research shows that businesses with strong wellbeing programmes see up to a 25% increase in productivity and a 41% reduction in absenteeism.

~ Gallup Survey (2016)

Companies that prioritise employee wellbeing experience 59% less turnover than those that don’t. When individuals feel supported and empowered, the benefits extend beyond the individual, creating a ripple effect of positivity, collaboration, and innovation that enhances team dynamics and, ultimately, business success.

Our Approach

At Wellbeing4Life, we provide a comprehensive range of workplace wellbeing services that fit within a carefully designed three-tier framework.

This structure allows us to meet the unique needs of your organisation, from empowering every employee to offering targeted support for those facing specific challenges.

What they say about us

“Sharon came and led two staff sessions that focused on work-life balance and sleep. Sharon was very knowledgeable and presented the information and strategies in a very relaxed and engaging way. The strategies she talked about and demonstrated were appropriate to the staff’s needs and got us all thinking and reflecting both during the sessions and afterwards. Her calm approach made staff feel comfortable and able to share thoughts, including their current issues and feelings. Sharon then explored this with staff and gave staff a range of strategies to try out to improve the situation. Staff reported that the sessions were valuable and left them with ideas to try and improve their work-life balance and sleep patterns. Two thoroughly worthwhile sessions. Thank you, Sharon.

A close friend as well as a work colleague both had major events in their lives.  I felt helpless and confused with what was happening to them.  I enrolled in the First Aid in Mental Health course to give me an understanding of what mental health and well-being are.  More importantly, if I could give them support or help. I now feel that I could be approachable and non-judgemental.  I certainly feel I could offer guidance, which may  help people to a better place in their lives.

A big thank you to both of you for the great work over the last few years. I can assure you a lasting legacy has been left. You particularly revitalised the business during lock down and I can’t thank you enough. I wish you both every success in the future.

Wellbeing4life has its finger very much on the pulse of what businesses and their employees require and how they can most effectively receive that information. Sharon and Elain complement each other with their presenting styles, knowledge, and experience of the subject. They are enthusiastic and deliver a session that is professional and highly credible—they are gurus of workplace wellbeing!

Katy Broadhead

Business Manager, Darren Broadhead Consulting

After each session Elain provided a summary of what we had discussed; there was no pressure to implement anything, and no judgement if goals I had set were not fulfilled by our next session, only encouragement on how to help me achieve them in the future.

I would highly recommend Wellbeing 4 Life for any company considering them to deliver courses and coaching to help your employees prioritising wellbeing, which in the long term leads to happier employees and higher standards of work.

Liz Fox

Manager, Assured Energy

I started working with Elain just before (and into the first couple of months) I was returning to work after 10 months of maternity leave. I had concerns about returning to a team that had seen a lot of change whilst I had been off and being able to continue to give the best of myself to the role whilst fighting with the new feelings and juxtaposition of my desire to work hard and balance that with wanting to be the best mother as well. Elain helped me talk through my concerns, challenged me on my previous conceptions of who I was and how I was perceived and gave me tools to help me return to the workplace with confidence. 3 months down the line I am continuing to put in place the tools and boundaries and am confident that I am still giving my best whilst being able to balance this with my personal life and commitments. I would 100% recommend Elain to anyone needing coaching support.

Rebecca Lennox-Jackson

Senior Category Manager, Aggregate Industries UK

Elain helped me while I was transitioning from one job to another. Her advice and coaching skills helped me to explore my thoughts and feelings around the massive change I was going through. Not only that but she’s equipped me with the tools to be able to help myself whenever I experience difficulties in my new job. I honestly don’t think I would have started my new job in such a positive state of mind if it hadn’t been for Elain’s excellent coaching.

Liz Smythe

Coaching Client

Elain and Sharon delivered a workshop on ‘Managing stress and building resilience’ to my team, and it was exactly what I asked for. We have an amazing team that I depend on, and I recognise that the work can be busy and challenging, which is why I put things in place to support their wellbeing. The team really enjoyed the workshop and will continue to use the practical strategies that were introduced and benefit from the results. I would recommend Wellbeing4Life to any business that values their staff.

Cathy Walker

Managing Director, The Cutting Room

I have attended some events hosted by Wellbeing4Life and would recommend them to any business owner looking to improve productivity, team morale, and absenteeism. Professional, evidence-based and with no gimmicks, Sharon and Elain’s approach makes sense.

We want our clients to thrive and grow, and we know that a key part of this is ensuring their staff can bring their best game to work.  For this, we sometimes need to work with partners.  Having worked hard to build trust and develop fabulous relationships with our clients, it’s important to us to be able to introduce trusted, credible, and professional partners to complement the HR services that we offer; that is why we work with Wellbeing4Life.  Sharon and Elain are knowledgeable, experienced, and ethical in their approach and have a real passion for what they do, which shows in the positive feedback from our clients. We wouldn’t hesitate to turn to them for support with workplace wellbeing and mental health challenges.

Nicki Robson

Director, Breedon Consulting

I started working with Elain after a very difficult time in my career and needed to work through some challenges that I hadn’t faced previously. Elain gave fantastic structure and helped me break down the issues and work through things one at a time. I learnt several tools from working with Elain that I will take forward with me to handle stress, work challenges, and work/life balance. I cannot thank Elain enough for the fantastic coaching that we went through and would highly recommend her work to anyone.

“The course was a great insight into my role as a Mental Health First Aider, it was an eye opener into how we are best able to assist anyone who approaches us for help. I feel after the day I was given all the tools for me as an individual to help. Great course delivered by two enthusiastic, knowledgeable ladies.”
